Hermes AI ("we", "the app"), operated by Umut Tugrul, is a market-analysis app that shows an educational 0–100 "cheap/expensive" reading for stocks, indices, commodities and crypto. This policy explains what we do and do not collect.
Hermes AI does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, address, or any government or financial identifier.
Your watchlist, alert thresholds and Trading Lab (simulation) activity are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. They are not transmitted to us and are removed when you delete the app or clear its data.
When you view a score, search, or open a market, the app sends the ticker/symbol and market you requested to our backend so it can return the analysis. These requests are processed in real time and are not linked to your identity. We do not sell or share this data.
To compute readings we retrieve market data from third-party providers (including Financial Modeling Prep, CoinGecko, and Yahoo Finance). Your symbol requests are relayed to these providers solely to fetch prices and fundamentals.
If you enable alerts, the app may send you notifications (for example, when a watched stock reaches your threshold). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Hermes AI is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
We do not maintain user accounts or profiles. The requests you make (the ticker/market you look up) may be retained briefly in standard server logs for reliability and abuse-prevention, and are automatically deleted within 30 days. These logs are not used to build a profile of you. To request earlier deletion of any logs that may relate to you, email umudi@icloud.com; we will action it within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/EEA or Türkiye, you may request access to, or deletion of, any data that relates to you via the contact email below. Since we do not hold accounts, most data lives only on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
You can clear all locally stored data (watchlist, Trading Lab) at any time by deleting the app.
