Hermes AI ("we", "us", "the app"), operated by Umut Tugrul, is a market-analysis app that shows an educational 0–100 "cheap/expensive" reading for stocks, indices, commodities and crypto. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.
Hermes AI requires you to sign in before using the app. You can sign in with an email address and password, or with your Google account. Sign-in and account management are handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) acting as our processor. When you sign in we collect:
We use this only to create and secure your account and to operate the features below. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
To run the app we store the following in Google Firebase / Firestore, linked to your user ID:
Your watchlist and alert thresholds are stored locally on your device. They are removed when you delete the app or clear its data.
When you view a score, search, or open a market, the app sends the ticker/symbol and market you requested to our backend so it can return the analysis. To compute readings we retrieve market data from third-party providers, including Financial Modeling Prep, CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance. Only the symbol you look up is relayed to these providers to fetch prices and fundamentals; your identity and email are never sent to them.
If you enable alerts, the app may send you reminders or notifications (for example, a weekly market summary or a watched stock reaching your threshold). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app: Google Firebase (authentication and database) as our processor, and the market-data providers named above (symbol lookups only, no personal data). We may disclose data if required by law.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time inside the app (Trading Lab → account → "Delete account"). You may also request deletion by emailing umudi@icloud.com. Deletion removes your account, quota records, and Trading Lab data; we action email requests within 30 days. Anonymous server logs (the ticker/market looked up, kept briefly for reliability and abuse-prevention) are automatically deleted within 30 days and are not used to build a profile of you.
All traffic between the app, our backend and our providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
Hermes AI is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If you are in the EU/EEA or Türkiye, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (your email, user ID, and account data) by using the in-app deletion option or the contact email below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
